Ben Saunders is the youngest solo explorer to reach the North Pole
Isabelle Hontebeyrie
British arctic adventurer Ben Saunders, 26, has become the youngest solo explorer to cross the Arctic Ocean from Russia to the North Pole.
Adverse and exceptionally warm weather conditions have meant that it is not possible for him to continue trekking from the North Pole to Canada.
Saunders has experienced temperatures up to 15 degrees warmer then previously reported at this time of year, causing open stretches of water and the ice to disintegrate. He was he was picked up by air yesterday and returned to land for the first time in seventy-one days. He should arrive in Ottawa today.
He chronicles his journey on his blog. Go take a look, it's amazing.

I found your site while searching on Yahoo for examples of blogs. I am trying to start my own and I'm trying to learn how this works.
